- Name, department, and employee status
- Mobile phone number and email address
- Time-off request details (type, dates, reason if provided)
- Preferred language and timestamps
How we use it
- Process and review time-off requests
- Send status notifications (received, approved, denied) by SMS and/or email
- Maintain internal HR records and an audit trail of changes
SMS / text messaging program
You consent to receive SMS messages from Far West Rice about your time-off requests by (1) providing your mobile phone number when submitting a request and (2) checking the SMS consent box on the request form. Messages are limited to time-off request confirmations and approval or denial updates — we do not send marketing or promotional SMS.

No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS opt-in data is shared with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose, including marketing or promotion. This information is used solely to deliver the time-off request SMS notifications described above. This restriction also applies to text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — these will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
We only share data with service providers needed to operate this portal:
- Our hosting and database provider (used to store request data)
- Our SMS delivery provider (Twilio), only to deliver the messages described above
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with any third parties for marketing, promotional, or any other purpose beyond operating this portal.
Data retention
Time-off requests and related audit history are retained for internal HR recordkeeping. Contact us if you would like a copy of, or removal of, your information where permitted.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing it@farwestrice.com.
Children
This portal is intended for Far West Rice employees and is not directed to children under 13.
